QUALIFICATION PROCEDURE

The shooter must be a Canadian resident, a member of the M.L.I.M.L.A. and a member of the Shooting Federation of Canada, dues to be paid by December 31.

All scores must be shot with the firearms and equipment acceptable for M.L.A.I.C. and firearms must be original or reproductions.

The shooter must send in a training program beginning January and continuing until the end of June, one training score per week from January 1st until March 31st then two traning scores per week from April 1st until June 30th

The shooter must attend the National Championships

The shooter must reach qualifying score in order to be named to the National Team. Qualifying scores are obtained by averaging the top three (3) scores from any of the following matches.

  1. the current year's team trials, held in conjunction with the National Championships
  2. the April match
  3. the May match (Ontario Championships)
  4. any regional or International match held between the current and the previous year's    Team Trials, ie. World Championships or Pan-Pacific Zone.
  5. other International style matches, approved by the Head Coach, targets of which have been witnessed by a match official, indicating date, score, and certifying the match was shot under International rules with International style equipment.

       NOTE: These qualifying scores will be based upon achieving, for a World Championships, 90% of the World Record score and for a Regional Championship, 85% of the World Record score.
